I am a current resident of Garfield Commons.
As stated in another comment, the staff is sugary sweet during the walk-through stage but couldn't care less once you're in...very rude at best. Maintenance people look like they're on a teather...trashy people in the complex...snow is plowed in front of walk ways....they plow around cars the first night of snowfall then never return. Smoke (non-smoker) from neighboring apartment makes my apartment smell like a pool room...when I complained they said sorry, we don't offer non-smoking apartments. After having a home for 25 years it is hard enough to live in an apartment but doubly difficult in a dump like this. Mail boxes are a mile away...summer time around the pool looks like a free for all at the trailer park....they charge $15 for a carport but people who don't pay park in yours...or vacant ones with no concequence....
