Typical management, nothing special

My wife and I have had our fair share of ups and downs here at Garfield Commons. The rent and location is excellent. Every store or restaurant you need is within 1 mile. However, parking here is like pulling at teeth. There are clearly to many cars to find a spot close to your apartment. In the winter time it is even worse. The plows make it a point to push all the snow and ice into at least six spots that are perfect for parking. The upkeep on the property is fair. The maintenance could definately be better. We have had a few instances where we were told that "someone would be by tommorrow" and we didn't see them for a two weeks to a month. On top of that the office staff is so incredibly nice when they are setting you up with your new apartment. But once you are all moved in they do a complete turn around with how they speak with you. Niceness becomes rudeness very fast. I was recently given a promotion through work that is requiring me to relocate out of state. Garfield Commons is not willing to help me out at all. They say that either my wife or I have to die before they will let us out of our lease!!! Exact words. I have never known a complex to say such things when all we asked for was to have our apartment be put on a list for vacant spots. Other apartment complexs' will do that no problem.
