The monthly rate for the apartment was excellent. Lots of closet space and appliances that generally work well. I've never had a problem with hot water as others have stated.
You can hear just about everything from those below you and outside, but it's an apartment, so really, what are you expecting'
If you never want to use the facilites or deal with the office staff/maintenance you will enjoy Lakeside Village.
On more than one occasion I've had a package delivered to the office where they have failed to inform me I have a package.
When we first moved in our swipe card for access to the fitness center didn't work, which we asked to have fixed at least three times and in nine months it has still not been done. The moment we signed our lease they turned into the least helpful and most useless human beings on earth.
Garbage dumpsters are overflowing at all times, I rarely see them emptied.
I've had more than one creepy encounter with the maitenace crew.
The decor is outdated and a little dirty in the apartments.
Children are not monitored. The 18 rule for the fitness center/pool area is never enforced. I've seen children wearing diapers and bringing food into the swimming pool on more than one occasion.
All in all, you're getting what you pay for.
The apartments have a great potential to be nice but are managed too poorly to live up to that potential.
