Gone from riches to rags...

This is indeed a horrible place. I, too, am stuck with a very expensive lease. I've lived here over a year and the place is really going to seed. They have designated 8 buildings as "dog-friendly" and one of the buildings is where I live. These new yahoos that moved here are horrible pet-keepers! They let their dogs defecate on the front lawn and seldom bother to pick it up. The dog urine burns yellow spots on the lawn and it starting to look like a mine field. The resident manager is an arrogant woman that will not give you the time of day if you call or go see her at the office. She never returns calls and the poor rental agents have to make excuses for her.

Paragon Properties (the managing company) is a mystery also. There is no direct way to reach them and the one time I did I was rudely brushed off. The apartments are really falling apart and I can't wait to leave. This place has definitely gone to the dogs (pun fully intended) and now appeals to rude, immature, inconsiderate people that don't care about their neighbors. That's all due to the first-year discount incentives that makes it possible for a bad element to live here. We've gone from a place populated by professional people to a multi-family occupancy in some apartments. Imagine three big teenage boys living with a married couple which I presume are the parents in a two-bedroom apartment. Yes, they have a dog.

Want more' The parking lot is a disgrace and the carports look unkempt. The trash receptacles are filthy and people leave garbage around them. If a garbage bag bursts during its trip to the dumpster, oh-well! Too bad!

Those in the building that smoke do so on the front stoop and throw the butts on the ground. The common hallway befits a NYC tenement, with the area in front of the mailboxes dirty and covered with trash. I normally pick up unwanted mail from the floor and dispose of it, but I sure get tired of it. There is no pride in residency here. Save yourselves the grief and go rent elsewhere.

I had that same issue in another apartment I lived in. Tons of problems and the office staff would not help fix them. So I tried to go to the next step and contact the managing company, But who would of thought no number to contact them.. so I went to the court and found and address sent a letter. and who would of thought they wouldn't help me either!!!!!

Its an apartment complex!!! What do you expect?? I lived there for over a year and yes it does have its downfalls but what apartment complex doesnt. What I cant stand are individuals who are more caught up in what a dog or other people are doing!! Get a life its ridicolous if you cant put up with it move out and stop whinning!!! Worry about the crime more in the area then what a dog is doing, get priorities!!!

i moved in here in feb of 2007. now since my time here, i have gotten my tires slashed (along with about 20 other cars) my friend and her sister got their purse stolen at the pool (you may have read about it in the news or seen it on tv) the friend and sister caught the 2 thiefs, i had a package mailed to me stolen from my front door (this just happened this past weekend) my neighbors car was damaged b/c the car next to his caught on fire and his car got burned, a friend of mine that lives around the block got her car window smashed and her car broken into, i heard a guy got his motorcycle stolen and my air cond. broke and they wouldnt come out and fix it immediately b/c it wasnt 100* outside, my house was infested with rolie polie bugs i dont no what else to say, i wish i never moved here and i am going to try like hell to get out of this lease i do not feel safe living here at all!

To jleitch777: Read my review. It says I'm stuck with a long lease. And, apartment or not, I detest dog crap on the lawns and people that walk over from the next building to put it there. I'm tolerant and pick up not only after myself, but also sfter the pigs that leave empty bottles and other trash plus cigarette butts right by the entrance. I have lived in complexes where the residents took pride in the common areas and were friendly and polite. If hating to see a dog take a dump and disliking trash when my friends come visit makes me wrong, then you, my friend, must be one of the pigs that live like that. There's a big difference between "live and let live" and having to live surrounded by rude people that belong in a dirty trailer park, not what's supposed to be one of the best complexes in Clinton Township.
