Some Good...Some Bad

I was a resident of Lakeside Village Apts for 2 yrs. I agree w/ the other reviews there is a lot of turnover in the leasing office but the people are always friendly. The screening process for tenants is obviously changing as well. The people do not care about the property. The building I lived in had a lot of younger people. They would leave coffee cups, cigarette boxes and beer bottles on the walkway outside. Once someone broke a beer bottle on my patio. It took maintenance over 1 month to clean it up. Also I requested a non pet building and someone in my bldg snuck a dog in, when I called the leasing office to report it I was told to find out what apt they lived in. I did not look of course. I felt that it was the landlords responsibility to investigate not mine. The fitness centers and pools are nice. I moved out when my leased ended in January and I am much more comfortable in my new townhouse. They have great move in specials but expect the rental rate to rise at least $50.00 when your lease ends. I would recommend this place to someone single w/ no children who is not home often!
