I was disappointed when my friend parked her car in my carport (which is not located near my building) and her license plate was stolen within a few days. I understand that crime happens, but when I contacted the leasing office to let them know of the incident (after filing a report with the police) they said they didn't keep any record of vandalism. I even asked if this was something that had been occurring more often recently, but they said they wouldn't even know because they don't make any reports. I would have thought they would have cared more about the safety of their community here.

I lived at Lakeside Village for almost 2 years, and believe it or not they once had a night time Courtesy Patrol person who worked 7 days a week every night. He patrolled the property every night and drove the entire grounds and was seen every 10 to 15 mins. He reported all complaints and everything that happened, and the office was aware of everything that happened every night from 10 to 4:00am. Their was nothing that happened that the office was not aware of. He knew all the night police officers and he had a very good relationship with them. He cared about all the residents and even handled complaints on his off time. Unfortunately the new management that was hired to take over the property could not see eye to eye with the importance's of the Courtesy Patrol position. Therefore he was forced to resign from his position. They do have a new Courtesy Patrol person on the property but as far as I know, no one has seen him.

Yeah, I remember the courtesy officer from before and I did see him often. I haven't seen the new one much either...

yea, I remember seeing the courtesy patrol guy when we first moved in. We saw him every 15-20 minutes all night long. I have not seen a courtesy patrol car around in months. I am sure they don't even have one anymore because they are cheap and they are horribly managed now. In one year that I have been there, there has been 3 or 4 managers. I can't wait to get out of this place.
