I agree, this is a bad place to live and it is because of drunken, unreliable and uncaring staff.
To fix a problem, any problem, you have to admit that there is one and this place is a big problem, when you are comfortable with the way things are and don??t have to do your job and drink on the job and let a place get run down. This place needs serious clean up to safe it , that means get rid of the trash, clean up all that needs to go, start with the staff, management and maintenance, get a manager that doesn't drink on the job and stops to worry how hard her job is, if it is to hard then get another job and maintenance guy that isn??t drunk and chases woman all over the place and makes other woman feel uncomfortable, for crying out loud, he got a wife, get real! The staff needs to knows what to do, do the job right and take it seriously in a nice and friendly way for the residence and get rid of all the troublemakers
this place could be a good place to live, once this happens! Sees the problem, realize and act in the way it should be done, the right way, wake up and smell reality!

the program ok lets see if i understand... i finally got 3 out of 6 buildings re done in the halls but... the holes in the new walls are from me and the garbage in the halls are from me and the tenants letting there kids run the halls are my fault right? the roads i took care of the pot holes, it was repaved soooo no pot holes ... the service requests well lets see i send my maintenance guy out and he does them and i get no calls saying it wasent done, and its funny when people move then they leave a response never in person do people tell me what they think about my managing this place, i do my job and i live here its very hard doing both , if the police are here i am glad arent you? i dont make the problems i just try and fix what i can. and lastly i dont pretend to be someone i am not, ladylogan is not me but i read the review and it feels good to have someone recognize something. there are always problems here but in reality you just deal with them. i am sorry you had to live in such a place and i hope where ever you live you are lucky enough not to have probelms and you change your opinion about your next manager especially if you live in a destressed property like this, how about i do your job for a week and you come do mine, good luck in your life and again i am sorry you felt it better to write anonymous instead of speaking to me in person.

THIS MANAGER DOES NOT DRINK ON THE JOB,THE STAFF DOESNT THROW TRASH AROUND, DOESNT DESTROY THE HALLS, DOESNT DEAL DRUGS OR WALK AROUND AT 3 IN THE MORNINGS, HOW ON EARTH IS IT MANAGERS FAULT THAT THIS PROPERTY HAS DISRESPECTED RESIDENTS?????. AGAIN ANONYMOUS ALWAYS WILLING TO PLACE THE BLAME ON ANYONE EXCEPT THEMSELVES OR THE ACTUALLY PEOPLE WHO TRASH THE PLACE, I LOVE MY JOB BUT I AM SURE YOU WONT FIND A MANAGER LIKE MYSELF WHOS JOB DOES NOT STOP AT 5:00 OR WHO GETS UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT DURING A FIGHT OR DRUG BUST JUST TO MAKE SURE HER TENANTS ARE SAFE,, I AM SURE YOU WILL STILL PLACE THE BLAME SOMEWHERE EXCEPT WITH YOURSELF.

I don't think anyone is blaming "the manager" for damaging the property. We are just blaming her for not changing it. And yes, you did renovate 3 out of the 6 building hallways??? we get it already. But you haven???t stopped your hooligans from damaging them. I know that you can't change the people, but you can evict them when they do something wrong and maybe do a background check before allowing them in. Just a suggestion. And who is "takeblameforyourself" anyway? Don't diss people for keeping their name secret, when you aren't revealing yours either! If the manager wanted to make sure her tenants were safe, she would keep the drug dealers out. Once they get out of jail, you don't have to let them back in. I'm sure it is nice to have the police around, but when they are coming around just because of complaints or because of a drug suspicion, that does really sit well. It kind of causes more fear. They don???t drive around in other apartment complexes. Ms. Manager, if you really wanted to do something good for your tenants you would take these posts into consideration and apply them to your job instead of making excuses for yourself.

Ok, Why is everyone blaming the manager she has how buliding to take care of? Give her break yeah, she comes off to be a rude person. I would too if I had people destory, putting trash in the hallway. and what else. Would you like her to walk evey build everyday and knock on everyone doors and see what they have to say about the place, And what she can fix. Call her and let her know. instead of trash talking her on here

first of all i lived on this property and i loved it. the manager is like my other mother. she doesnt not destroy this property she makes it better. the manager before her was stealing money and didnt have the buildings full. my other mother has filled the apts. she is trying to make it a better place for everyone to live. she is there when people need her. if you need something done she makes sure it gets done. its not her fault if the maintence guy doesnt do his job. she deff does not drink on the job. she barley drinks at all. so for all you people who are talking crap saying that shes a bad manager maybe you should get to know her. then maybe you would have a diffrent out look on things. just because some punk kids come in there and sell drugs and drink and cause trouble DOESNT MEAN THAT ITS HER FAULT. thats something that everyone fails to realize. i have lived in metro woods apts sence 003 untill last year when my mother became a manager. i love'd being there. it was a fun place to be. if you got to know people. the manger is a sweet heart. she would never cross you if you are a tentant. She did good by everyone. if she didnt that was because you were not following the rules of the apts. she never once gave any one a notice jsut because she didnt like them or anything. and for the holes in the walls talk to the parents who have teenage children. thats your problem right there. and for the garbage. ask the tentants and the people they bring to their houses. trust me i know about it all i was there for four years. and Ms. Hamblin made metro woods a better place then it was before.
