I have been a resident here since mid 2006. When my lease is up I AM OUT OF HERE!! Almost everyday I come home and nearly get a contact buzz by all the drug use in my building. It smells so bad of weed, its almost unbarable.... not to mention embarrasing when friends and family come to visit. The first month i was here, i kept noticing strange bite marks on my legs and arms that itched horribly. One night i caught my culprit in my bed and when i looked it up online i realized i had BED BUGS!!! NEVER EVER had i had this problem before!!!! When i called the office they said it could not have been from the apartment because it sat vacant for a while. They did nothing. I had to buy my own fumigators and paid to have a carpet/upholstry cleaner company come out. Thankfully i took carr of that problem myself. My air conditioners barely worked and even sucked up enough energy to allow me a $663 electric bill for one month!! Mind you, i live alone and work 40-50 hours a week. I never had the air on when i wasn't here. When i complained to management they said i could get new ones. That promise never happened. I suffered through a HOT summer. Then the tiles in my bathtub started buckling. I made my first complaint in october. No one ever replied. I complained again in November when the tiles started falling off all together leaving a huge hole around my faucet exposing gross rotting damp wood. Still no reply. Then we got new management. They made some improvements to the hallways with carpeting and fresh paint. They installed locked entrances for each building, however didn't bother to tell us residents who came home to find ourselves locked out of our own apartments!! Those of us who were able to get our keys before the office closed were fortunate, however my neighbor wasn't so lucky when she buzzed my door at 3am to get let her into the building. Another neighbor also came home that evening and had to call emergancy maintenance to let him in. After waiting nearly 2 hours he finally had to climb his own balcony and literaly break into his own apartment because the maintenance guy never showed up. The heat went out several times during this past winter. I would wake up to find it about 50 degrees in my apartment. Once it was on a saturday and when I called maintenance I didn't hear from anyone until monday! That to me is just incredibley neglegent! I had to have a maintenance guy here in early febuary to fix a leak and again said something about my bathtub tiles. He made a note of it, yet here it is the end of march and I am still waiting to hear something. Frankly, i've just given up. I understand that the new management has alot of cleaning up to do after the old management, but they really need to focus on us current residents. People are moving out all around me leaving vacant apartments all over. What good is running "great" new lease specials for new residents when they can't even take care of the ones they already have'''' I would not recommend this place to anyone at this present time. I hope eventually "peachtree" gets it together, but unfortunately i won't be here to see it happen if it does.

Trust me, it will never get better....they are scams...the property is in foreclosure...the new management comp is forced by the forclosing bank...they don't care what gets fixed, only that they get the money..
