I have always paid my rent on time and have always had problems with this complex I completely agree in regards to what this current resident said in regards to how mangement treats their tennents. I have had to force them to have things fixed and now this apartment fire has me scared I honestly feel that this fire was intentional just to get money and to hurt other people that are currently not paying their rent due to not getting their apartment fixed. Their are homeless people around all the time and also lived in our boiler room They do not fix the security doors and hall way lighting to be able see climbing the stairs their are drug dealers and pimps and prostitutes all over the place. I have had peeping toms and dealing with management is just not worth the hassle I am glad I am leaving their real soon. You cannot even get renter insurance their due to the liability the insurance companies will not insure you due to the ongoing issues and security of the complex. I have had water leaking in my windows I feel that I may be paying part of the complexes electricity reason being is my electric bill used to be around 60.00 a month and now since the outside lights are working and the lights in the hallway and so forth that i really think that all of the residents their are paying some or most of the electricity their to secure their own safety. well anyway getting tot he point is my electric bills have gone from 60 to over 100 a month ever since the out side lighting has worked and or someone else is tapping into me.

They also do not care about the safty and well being of the conditions of the outside like ice on the sidewalks and in the parking lots I have fallen several times due to the ice and have seen other residents fall from the icy sidewalks or broken concrete trip hazards.

When I first moved in the Pool was up and running then the next year after the current mangment took over the pool was not working in 2007 and everyone was given the same reason that they had several write ups from the city county and state for not complying with rules and regs or so they say and to this day I have not found anything to make me believe this explanation and now they want to charge the residents extra money to use the pool and the gym and racket ball club. this was one of the reasons for moving into this place was the space the washer and dryer and dishwasher and the pool and my reant used to be 490.00 a month and now it is 540.00 a month. This complex does not care about you all they care about is the money that is it. that is why it is an LLC company becasue they can only be SUED for up to a certain amount but anyway i will add more to this comment and post pictures that I have saved since i have been their once i move out in April.
