My apartment here is very nice looking. but the buildings are old. the pipes make a knocking noise when you run water or take a shower. i can't do the dishes when my baby is sleeping in his room because the noise wakes him up. i can deal with this though. i've gotten used to it, but it's an inconvience and annoying. The A/C didn't work when we moved in. i called the office about. they called me back saying it was fine with out even sending anyone out to look at it. i accepted what they said to me but after dealing w/ the heat in here i knew it really was broke. i called them again, they sent someone out and had it fixed that day. the A/C stopped working by the end of the summer. now with summer comming up again, i told the office it wasn't working. they said they couldn't do anything about it until it was hot outside. i don't know if that is true or not, but i'm not happy about having to wait until it's hot in here before it can be fixed. i feel that the management has talked to me very rudely on a few occasions. My fiance called about something and he couldn't even explain what the problem was because the person on the phone kept interrupting him. i really don't feel that we are problem tenants, but we've been treated like it. maybe i'm just too sensitive. either way, these are very nice apartments for the amount of rent you are charged. i just wish i wouldn't get treated like trash when i call the office about a problem or go in to talk to them. i give people respect, i expect it back.

03/16/2007: Thanks for trying, but the noise is not fixed. Yes, i did not call about the pipe problem. this is my first time living on my own. i thought that's just what happens when a building is old(i said "old" not delapidated). like i said, i can deal with it. i never said this apartment complex wasn't well maintained. i agree that it is very well maintained.

Since when can someone be sued for telling the truth''''' anyways. what are you going to sue me for. money' don't have that. just enough to live here. yeah, i don't have anything so, i hope you sleep well at night when you try to take the roof off my sons head. thank you. Besides, you aready know who this is. i sent you a private email explaining things that you privatly emailed me about. no need to search my IP address. i will openly admit who i am. but why would i on the internet' i explained why i posted this in the email. it was for a reason. accept it.

A common misconception is that anonymous posters enjoy a shield from liability for defamation or other harm caused by their postings. This is false. If an anonymous author posts damaging content on ApartmentRatings.com, the harmed party can file suit against the "John Doe" author, subpoena their IP address from ApartmentRatings.com, discover their identity from their ISP, and pursue a defamation judgment against the individual.

Dear Anonymous.....Why would someone bother to leave a comment about things that need attention and not leave their name? What are you trying to prove? Just call the office, like everyone else. I have lived here for 2-3 years and I have lived in several other apartment complexes. This is by far, the best place I have ever been in. If I have a problem, I call the office and it's taken care of. I can't believe you're talking about the same office, you make it sound like you're dealing with some immature, disrespectful, uncaring people...not here, no way. I felt compelled to speak up for Management...If anyone gives the respect people deserve, they do. I have never experienced any problems with Management, Maintenance or with any of my Neighbors. I feel lucky to live here. This is a nice place to live. I was wondering who the heck is this, acting so abrasive and mean? I guess that's why you didn't leave your name. You sure don't live anywhere near me, that's for sure. If you felt like you were treated like trash, hey then if the shoe fits, wear it!

Dear Anonymous ~ I am sorry that you feel as if you may be the only person on this earth at this point in time. Please make sure that you have verified the apartment name and address because from what you have said, you must be reading something wrong and you must live somewhere else. I am entitled to my own opinion so here goes . . I think you are full of crap but you have stated your own opinion and hope that you break your lease sometime soon because just in case your mother or father didn't raise you correctly, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. These people have provided you with a roof over your head, heat in the winter and even a pool to swim in. If you are that unhappy with this place I am sure that you can find another place to live, but not like this complex.

Dear Anonymous~ To anyone reading these posts, I have to say that I find what this woman stated to be totally not true. I too, feel the need to stick up for the Management and Maintenance personnel at this complex. Any time I have had dealings with the office they have been professional, courteous, and true to their word. Any time I have called the office, they have responded quickly and in my view, corrected whatever needed to be corrected. They have taken care of issues that I wasn???t even aware of; this shows to me that Management is on top of everything. The staff knows what is happening in all the buildings, and treats every one of their tenants with the respect they deserve. It is amazing to me how some people tend to be happier complaining, then enjoying what is good. Our "homes" are clean, dry, warm (or cool in the summer) and safe. My neighbors are great! On a personal note ??? if you can???t afford to live here, maybe you shouldn???t. It can???t be as bad as you are saying if you are still living here since 2005. Apparently you are young and na??ve, it really shows in your post. If your baby can???t sleep thru a little noise, than why are you living in an apartment? There is always going to be some type of noise anywhere you would live. Go home to your parents or try to find a cleaner, safer, and QUIETER place to live for the ???rent??? that you currently pay. I dare you.

i have been very pleased with the office and maintenance staff at reivercrest arms. i would confidently recommend this place to my closest friends. as i look over the respones to anonymous' review it is clear that everyone disagrees strongly with her and i find it very hard to believe that she has been singled out for neglect and abuse (for no reason). this is real life not a soap opera. and again, the staff at rivercrest arms has been helpful, courteous and punctual, the building doesn't make any noises and all appliances are in excellent working condition. sincerely , happy tenant.

cdasilva. i'm not to sure you read what i wrote. nor do you know the whole story. the point of my original post is not about things that need attention. it's about the disrespect i have gotten from management. I'm not the only one that feels this way. Apparently management has been this way for a long time. Family members of mine that have lived there years ago describe management to me as "Not nice". UncleShel I am actually very happy that my family seems to be the only ones that feel the way i stated in my post. I did not mean for this to turn into what it has. I'm sorry that you feel what i wrote is so horrible that you feel the need to attack me personally implying that i cannot afford to live here or was not raised right by my parents like someone else wrote. I stand by my original post 100%. I would delete it if i didn't feel in my heart that it wasn't all true. Obviously there are enough positive posts on here that future tenants will surely be able to look past my comments. gladtwobehome your post made me laugh. thanks. have a wonderful day.
