I left the review about Garfield Plaza Apartments, and I wished I had stayed there! The office staff here is unhelpful and the apartment is shoddy. The apartment wasn't even clean when we moved in, and there were multiple problems, such as missing fixtures, rusty bathroom sink, and bad caulking.

The only reason we left Garfield Plaza was because we needed a 2 bedroom ASAP, and one wouldn't have been available for another month. When we came to visit Riverside, we were shown a beautiful, well kept up apartment by a very friendly member of the office staff. Once we signed the lease, their attitude changed.

When I had asked to see this apartment before signing the lease, I was told that I couldn't until maintenance could clean it up. I guess they still haven't gotten around to it.

Every time I call the office, the woman on the phone sighs. I've had to call repeatedly about the dishwasher, which refuses to rinse. (Huge chunks of powdered soap are left on the dishes.) When I initially called about the problem, I was asked in a VERY rude way if I was using liquid dishwashing soap. When I said no, of course not, I was met with a rude laugh and an "Are you sure'" They've been here 5 times and it's still not fixed.

Our bathroom sink had a huge rust gouge in it, and when I asked to have it fixed, all they would do is paint it with liquid ceramic, which doesn't hide anything. It's also beginning to come off.

Parking is horrible-if you're not here by 5pm, you're not going to get a spot by the building because they'll all be full.

There's one washer and dryer for 8 units.

If I don't have enough saved for a down payment on a house next year, I'm moving back to Garfield Plaza. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
