I've lived here for several years, this is the second time I've moved here. First time was better, I think because some of the managent lived in the building but I'm in a different building now.

The Good: Affordable living, maintenance responds to calls in a timely manner. Good size apartments and office did a great job in trying to get the apartment for us when we ran into problems. Rarely have problems at night with noise but we are in a more family oriented building. Outside is well maintained, trash picked up and lawn/landscaping is well kept up.

The Bad:

This time, I've had my car sat on by the neighborhood kids, scratched up, etc because nobody will discipline them. I can't speak to their parents because they don't speak english! Kids run the halls, ripping up people's bulk mail from the mailbox tray and scattering it about. When parents don't want their kids in the unit when weather is bad, they send them to the hallways to make a mess.

Inside corridors rarely get cleaned and a mess can be expected to stay there for several weeks when it's made. Ceiling tiles in corridor have fallen due to water damage from a water leakage and the walls appear to be buckling from water damage. Bugs breeding in the wet carpeting, especially giant mosquitos. It doesn't appear that maintenance or management does any regular walk throughs to check on the status of the building maintenance.

Since there is no outside spigots for hoses, the hoses are run through the building into the laundry room leaving the outside doors propped open for days on end. Nights too. Very unsecure entryways. Didn't have this problem last summer though. They have been watering lawns a lot lately. They need to get built in sprinkler systems!!!!
