Getting Very Bad

I have lived here for a number of years and have really not had any problems until about a few months ago. It started with cars being broken into and the office staff not caring about it. In the last month alone, there has been 2 gang fights, an apartment was broken into around 3pm in the afternoon, and drug deals going on out in the open. The pool has also been vandalized. Like I said, this is the last month alone! The complex is now also allowing registered sex offenders in. Also, from what I have been told, the complex manager has left because of how bad this place is getting. The police are here on a daily basis. I am breaking my lease so I can get out of here. My family fears for their safety. Some people that I have talked to are buying or have already bought guns to protect themselves. This is not the staffs fault, the company that used to own this complex sold it to another company that has a HUGE reputation for letting this happen.

Are they charging you a fee for the breaking of your lease? I am also thinking about breaking mine.

There is nothing in the lease that says you will be cahrged a fee besides losing your security deposit.
