In the 5 years that we have lived here, I really don't have much to complain about. The manager here is the greatest I've ever come across. (I agree with the other reviewer that she is a sweetie). Maintenance issues are resolved quickly. They are all really nice people. The grounds are maintained well and landscaped quite tastefully with trees, bushes, and flowers (season permitting). Weathervane also has lovely pool, tennis court, and workout room. Parking is decent; they have plenty of parking at each entrance with vacant parking spaces always.

The apartments themselves are comfortable with a spacious shelved storage closet within the apartment. The apartments are quiet too. Of course you can here people in the hallways, and when you're in the hall you can hear televisions and conversations coming from apartments as you walk by them. But once you're inside your apartment you can't hear your neighbor unless your sitting in complete silence yourself.

I guess one complaint would be that our hallway is not cleaned weekly like it is supposed to be. Monthly at best, but it still is quite clean nonetheless (I've actually kept a log since April of 2003 of when she actually cleans it!). I guess this bothers me to no end because I clean for a living and I know this person is being paid to clean them weekly and gets away with only doing it monthly. So in reality it's just my problem. Like I said the halls aren't filthy, she's just not doing her job! If your lucky enough to live in the building where the manager lives and the office is your hall will be done weekly so you have 1 in 3 odds since this is a small community.

So if you're looking for a great place to live. This is definitely worth checking into. Especially if you have school aged kids. L'Anse Cruese schools with bussing to and from. Very close to all kinds of shopping, and easy expressway access. Oh yeah, and for an extra $15 per month your kitty can live here too!!!
