For anyone that is contemplating on moving into a new enviornment I have only good reviews for York Creek!! I love it so much hear that I have been trying to talk my children and thier families into moving here. I have lived here since October 2008 and whenever I have had any kind of issue the maintenance or office addresses the issue immediately. Everything is so convenient to get to; resturants, car washes, banks, gas stations, strip malls; anything you need is within walking distance. My neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves. I have had a problem with grafiti being sprayed on my garage; but, the next day maintenance had it painted. The front door was not closing good called maintenance they were there to fix it the same day. Yes there are some bugs that get into the apartment periodically but that can happen in any home. The upkeep of the apartments is spectacular; in the winter they are always plowing in the summer and spring they are always mowing the grass. The dumpsters are emptied on a regular basis. I am sorry for the people that have experienced negative situations; but, it is not as bad as some of them are making it sound. I think it is a very nice place to stay..

You work in the office huh? Quiet and keep to themselves? Yea, sure, as long as you're not narcing on them to the cops for being employed at 'York Creek Pharmeceuticals'. Yea, everything is in walking distance, if you're brave enough to walk from your door to somewhere off YC property. Don't BS about the office staff, they're all douchebags and a-holes in there. No one wants to help you do anything but extend your lease. Dumpsters are overflowing every week 2 days before trash is picked up since a quarter of NE Grand Rapids drives in and dumps off their trash here. The apartment upkeep is sh|t, and you know it. Sometimes it takes 2-3 days after a blizzard to plow your lot. Real fun when a Monday and a Wednesday snow hard and you don't get cleared until Wednesday night, so you're walking out to your car that third day in knee deep or worse snow wondering how you'll ever get out of the parking lot. The review titles has York Creek staff written all over it, HA! 'I love York Creek' you're a Goddamn liar! The only thing you love them for is your paycheck, you don't live there. ---- you 'Land and Company'

I agree with Anonymous! I used to live there and its bad! When I used to tell people where I lived they'd reply "Eww! York Creek is so grody!," or "That place is a s---hole." The statement about the trash is dead on, maintenance is a joke, and the people they rent to are dirty! A few months ago someone was murdered over a bad drug deal at that property. I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least one drug dealer in every building. When you complain about anything to the leasing office they tell you there is nothing they can do. Their customer service is terrible! York Creek is what's wrong with the Walker/Comstock Park area. If you want examples of what is wrong with York Creek, drive through the complex late afternoon to early evening. You'll see what I mean. Drive slow though, otherwise you might hit a young unsupervised child or a local reprobate, neither of which will look before running into traffic. The comments by "barryswife" are far from the truth and most likely WERE posted by the York Creek Leasing Office or the property owner Land and Company. If you are considering leasing at this property please reconsider.
