I have enjoyed living at York Creek, and I would highly recommend it. I have never felt unsafe in my building or in the parking lot. The rent is inexpensive, and my apartment is very nice. The staff is helpful and professional. I will probably stay here until I've saved up enough to purchase a home.

We take the comfort of our residents very seriously. There was a robbery in the adjoining neighborhood. Our Security assisted the Police in apprehending both suspects neither of them were residents of York Creek. We do not allow Felons or Sex Offenders to live at York Creek. If one of our residents violates our policies, they are asked to leave. Our Employees do not post anonymous posting on ApartmentRatings.com. you're a god damn liar. how do you sleep at night knowing you con people into getting apartments in york creek, then see them in the office and hear them mention your bogus reviews? how do you live with yourself knowingly putting people in danger and talking up that ---- hole that's full of violence, gangs, drug dealers, and thieves?

I don't know what part of this place you're living in, but for the majority of residents, what you are saying is laughable. I too believe that you are employed by Land and Co., or maybe you grew up in the projects and this is a step up (no offense intended, just don't know of your frame of reference for "safe" is the norm). Never felt unsafe? Well, for the record, this place was swarmed with cops a couple nights ago. A perimeter was set up, K-9 was called in after one suspect got away into the beautiful woods. Or the fact that sexual offenders live here. Last year, there were over 3 letters sent home from the schools about strangers attempting to lure children in York Creek into their car. Want to join a gang, or get some drugs? This is the place. So how safe is it? Now I'm not saying that York Creek is all bad, or like it's Michigan's Cabrini Green, but I believe your review is misleading. Shame on you if you are yet another office worker pretending like you are a satisfied resident.

Funny enough, when I moved in, I met the woman living next to me and asked her how York Creek was, in her opinion. She said the same thing--she loved it, it's an awesome space for the price (can't find anything close on the east side of the state) and she was just about to move out because she had saved up enough for a house. Honestly, I love it here. If you're thinking of moving in, make sure you specify that you want an apartment that faces the woods (more privacy), tell them you don't like hearing your neighbors (I think the 3rd floor units are for the quiet people...my opinion but I can only hear my neighbors when I go downstairs to do my laundry) and request that you get an extra lock on your door if you're afraid of break-ins. I've never had security issues but that's my suggestion...I have a one bedroom loft and it's the best apartment I've ever lived in. <3

Hey all to the Manager who says there are no felons or sex offenders living here Bull ----!!! I can give you 2 adresses right now! 585 Yorkcreek dr. #8, And also 635 Yorkcreek dr. #8! Don't believe me check out the MI sex offender registry! both with multiples for cconvictons with kids under 14. so quit lying you'll let anyone live here!

We DO have sex offenders living here, they are listed on the Family Watchdog site AND on Michigan Sex Offender list. The 585 one has been here for over six months. I HAVE seen at times as many as four sex offenders listed, but that has since dropped. As far as the suspects not living here, that doesn't matter. They still were HERE as the probably have friends that live here. Don't allow felons? I know a person who lives here who IS a felon, who was in prison for two years. York Creek does let anyone move in here, and while it isn't their fault people behave the way they do, it IS their fault for letting any ghetto gang member live here so York Creek can fill those empty apartments. While some people here are very nice, they are far outnumbered by the unsavory. Sad but true. You ask people to leave if they violate your policies? No. Not until after the umpteenth time, and until they've managed to make living here miserable for the other residents. Mr. or Mrs. Manager, did you know that when my daughter goes to school, she is told by her fellow students that YC is a place her parents won't even let her go. These are other CP residents who know how safe it is....go to CP, and ask someone who doesn't live in YC how they feel about it. How about the fact that Alpine Township wants YC and the other apartment place in CP to pay higher taxes because a majority of their calls are calls here? Mr. or Mrs. Manager, I understand it's your job to promote this place. But it's our job as citizens to tell of our bad experiences, and refute your attempts at suggesting this place is nice. It's only fair they know what it is all about.
