I lived there from mid-July 2006 to the end of July 2008. The only reason I moved out was because of my new job location. I only paid $490 per month for a one bedroom apartment. I had a washer and dryer in my unit, I had a ton of attick storage space, and nobody lived above or below me (one level unit).

I moved down to Oakland County (Lake Orion specifically) and now am moving to Wayne County (Taylor) this week and I really miss the days of Davison rent. I pay $700 per month in Lake Orion and will be paying $800 per month in Taylor. Granted both of those are two bedroom apartments, I didn't need a two-bedroom apartment at Chatwell Club because of the attick storage. Rent was so much cheaper at Chatwell Club.

The positive aspects are:
- Washer and dryer in each unit
- You don't have 50 units in each building
- Attick storage space (for the one bedroom apartments)
- Well maintained facility
- Maintainance was great and responsive!
- Location (one minute maximum from State Street and I-69)
- Very friendly neighbors
- Cheap Price (relative to Oakland County and Wayne County)

The drawbacks are:
- A handful of stray cats (never bothered me though)
- Workout facility was small (only had a treadmill...which was usually broken, stationary bikes...which were very, very small, and a weight machine)
- No covered parking for some apartments (especially the one bedrooms)
- The roads need to be repaved in there!

This is about as honest of a review as I can write. Overall, I would definitely recommend this complex in a heartbeat. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions...
