I've lived here for many years, and aside from the occasional loud neighbor it's been pleasant. Recently new management took over and everything changed. Rents going up, dumpsters are overflowing and there is dog poo everywhere. I'm moving out at the end of this month and am sad because it was nice for so long. I do not recommend this place unless u don't mind the mess that is now taking over the property. The screening process seems to be not as strict. We now have a lot of very noisy neighbors although they do seem very nice when you talk to them.The other problem is the new office staff, they aren't very helpful at all, or nice for that matter. One problem I always ahd was that each building only has 1 washer and dryer in it. Other tenants will stop your machines, take your clothes out or leave theirs in there for days. Maybe new management will add a couple some day. lol

i rented from these jokers for one day. They told me that the aprtment was ready and wasnt. They wouldnt even let me tour the apartment because it wasnt ready and instead showed me the office which was just like it. I took possesion and bingo! The floor smelled like cat pee and the supposedly they cleaned floor with a steam cleaner. Floor sweeped maybe. Anyways, the complex looked like something out of Flint. Poor management! The manager didn't even bother calling me. I stopped payment and found another better apartment.

It is now managed by the same company that runs Windsor Place and I read a few of the reviews from that complex and am not surprised that Rising went downhill after new management took over. The owner wasn't interested in quality management or tenants, just quick turnaround and cheap labor which is why they downsized their hours and only have maintanance come from windsor place to take care of things and then head back over there for the day. I was sad the day they took over because everything changed almost over night.
