Apparently a lot has changed since the previous reviews because I've lived here for 1.5 years and love it! I've raised my daughter here since birth and have felt completely safe.

I've had a few small problems here and there, management bent over backwards to help me correct the problem. They immediately came to fix any probems we had in the apartment, always with a smile on their face.

Unlike our previous apartment where the guy down the hall played music so loud that it rattled my walls, the other tenants in my building are great and I trust them. Never a thing stolen or broken, I've even accidentally left my keys in my door and they let me know. UPS has left packages with neighbors and I received them back without a problem.

While my husband *did* get his truck broken into, we had worse problems living in an apartment in Lapeer - I think it's just one of the things you have to deal with in an apartment complex with a lot of people coming and going.

Compared to a lot of the other places around here, I'd definitely recommend Stratford Squares. I'm not sure if there was a management change but I like what's going on.
