my husband and i moved in the summer of 2007 after about 2 weeks of living here our storage locker was broken into by someone they stole probably about at least 1500 dollars worth of stuff so when we went to the office about it right away the manager had promised to give us the next month of rent to us for free instead of us taking them to court over it. well needless to say the next month came and they evicted us for unpaid rent and she said she never promised us that. also the whole time we lived there our air condition never worked right we would turn it as low as it would go and it would still be like 70 in the apartment... the maintence guy never fixed it right. the lady that runs the place is a quack and a half lol... now our credit is messed up because they think were gonna pay them for the lease.. yeah right i might just take them to court and settle it that way because i did make a police report the day our storage was broken into.. so regardless of being down the road from a school and a police station it dont really matter it doesnt mean crime is non existant dummy...

What did your lease say? Most leases tell you that the landlord is not responsible for items placed in the storage room. It's not like they have a guard in there watching the storage lockers! So when you store "probably about at least 1500 dollars worth of stuff" you are doing so at your own risk. That is just one more reason why you really should have renters insurance. As to the A/C working or not working...if it was 70 degrees in your apartment, it probably WAS working. Sounds like you were trying to find any excuse to not pay the rent and now you're trying to blame your subsequent bad credit on your landlord, too. Time to grow up and be a responsible adult.

whatever it sounds like your trying to make this place look good... nice try and as for the air it didnt work at all and regardless of what our lease said its what that wackjob of a landlord promised us so whatever im over it we own our own home now and were very happy

Willowbrook Apartments who is owned and ran by the same management is the exact same way. The landlady is the reincarnated devil and Willowbrook is hell on earth. So any properties owned by this agent. I advice no one to live anywhere near there.
