Background:
We (my g/f and I) have lived here for 4 months.
We live in the "new" section on the east side of the complex.
We are in our mid-20's.
This is not our first apartment.
Pros:
Apartment is spacious
Fairly clean
Not too many surprises as far as condition.
Utilities are $45-$120 depending on time of year at average usage.(Could be a pro or a con)
Cons:
Most neighbors are inconsiderate.
They run up and down stairs.
They slam their apartment door and the front door.
The front door frame is broken and allows anyone to access our apartment which leads to the next problem.
Neighbors friends get drunk and hang out in hallway. They ring other peoples apartment buzzers and smoke inside the hallways.
If you like to sleep then you will not want an apartment on the parking side of a building. People love to rev their automobile engines as they drive through the complex. It's sad really. We had to deal with some a-hole who would sit on his HARLEY at 5am for 1/2hour talking to some drunk girl he picked up at the bar.
People love to leave trash in the hallways.
We personally just got some really overweight people who moved in above us and our ceiling CREEKS REALLY BAD WHEN EVER THEY MOVE AROUND (which is all the time.) Our last tenant above us worked third shift and had 3 kids-we never heard a sound from her.
There is absolutely never enough parking. We have to park at least 140ft away from our building's front door.
Summary:
I can not urge you enough to avoid this place like the plague. People here have no manners. There is only one girl at the front office who is friendly and acts professional! I'm not even sure she still works here. We are seriously contemplating ending our lease and paying the extra fines for doing so because it is not worth it. We now see why paying a little bit extra for a more upscale apartment is well worth it- it keeps the riff-raff out and immature people away. We are not prudes and like to party like a lot of people. We just don't like drunk people yelling at 3am in front of our apartment door during the middle of the week. Its not fun. I've been tempted several times to grab my 7-iron knock some sense into my neighbors. If you do not believe me just try walking around here and talking to people. You will either get a cave-man's response or a complaint. Good luck to ya and have a great new year!
PS The picture i have included was taken today and i did not arrange anything in that picture. you will see the lovely cig in the salt bucket and plastic cup that once held beer.

I haven't lived here quite a month yet, so I don't know how I feel about things overall here, but I just have to say this person is mostly complaining about other tenants, which is not the apartment's fault. That is really based on luck with what kind of people live around you. I haven't had any problems like this yet, except occasionally I hear people outside late at night. But no one in my area has caused any disturbances.
Also, if there are issues with loud late parties, you can simply call the police and they will rectify the situation. If you don't do anything about it, then nothing will change.
They definately need lights around the parking lots, though.
