I have a laundry list of things at this apartment gone wrong:

-BOXELDERS EVERYWHERE!! When I complained to management, they said there was "nothing they could do"...the tree outside my building is a boxelder tree...did they realize this when they planted it'
-BEES EVERYWHERE!!! The day I moved in, there were THREE hornets nests on my balcony. I called management to take care of them; they came and knocked the nests down, then gave me bee spray for "if they come back". They came back multiple times; I can't use my balcony because of the bees. Not to mention the numerous amounts of bees and hornets nests on all of the buildings
-The day I moved in I asked for a new screen door to my balcony. I have been there for two years and have yet to recieve said new screen door.
-Nobody will tell us why the fire happened in building 16. I have heard rumors, but nothing definitive.
-The neighbors leave their trash in the hallways
-FRUIT FLIES EVERYWHERE!!! It took me nearly four months to rid my kitchen of fruit flies...I suspect it has something to do with the neighbors leaving their trash in the hallway...
-A sixty dollar non-refundable cleaning fee should mean that your apartment should be in sparkling condition. Yet, I had to have them come and re-do my kitchen counters because I believe the previous tenants put cigars out directly on the countertops. There were burn marks and holes everywhere...they must have thought I wouldn't notice it. I had to fight with them to get the work done, then they wanted me to first of all, not be home when four maintainence men were in my apartment, then not use my kitchen for 48 hours, and be home as little as possible. Yeah, right.
-Half the outlets don't work
-I stand in mid-calf deep water every time I shower. They claimed that it's due to the high water pressure of the area, and the drains can't compensate for it; they offered to fix my shower head so it didn't put out as much water, but when they did, it was down to nearly a trickle of water.
-At this very moment, the laundry room has about an inch of water in it. The washers and dryers work about half the time, and it's real dingy and dirty.
-Whenever I want maintainence to come, it takes forever. Whenever maintainence "needs" to get into my apartment, they expect for me to allow them to come into my home while I am not there. When I deny them access, they keep pleading with me, saying they "really need to get the problem fixed". Well what about my problems'

My lease expires in two months. I will not be renewing. I would not recommend anyone to move in here; it's not worth the hassle.
