Our family had a very unpleasant living experience here. We were initially attracted by the location, beautiful grounds, and the actual size of the units. We were tricked with the actual price of the monthly lease we were told one price and experience something totally different a month later. We were fool by the NEWLY RENOVATED MODEL. The windows are nice and big and provide plenty of light but they are old and need to be replaced; you freeze in the winter and burn in the summer. Our heat didn't work in the winter time and our c/a didn't work in the summer time -- and it was not a big priority to management. Snow is not removed in a timely fashion; most residents clean their own areas before ground maintenance shows up. The maintenance personel apparently are not licensed and lack experience in home maintenance and repairs. The new appliances were not new. Security does not patrol the grounds. Parking areas entrances for units are not well lit. Patios are not private. Walls enable you to hear your neighbors next door. Little kids run around the complex unsupervised; always playing in the middle of the street. Residents disregard assigned parking areas. Management advised that only small pets are welcome; but huge dogs being walked all the time. Management is never available and it takes a while to get someone to address your issues. The rates are extremely high for the quality and service you receive.

As a tenant for three years now, I can attest to the management's commitment to eliminating the problems with unsupervised children (we have a very strict policy on that). I can also say in good conscience that in the three years I have NEVER had an instance in which I could hear my neighbors through the walls. Security DOES in fact patrol the grounds in the evenings, and management warns assigned parking violators once and then tows them. As for the pets, as far as I know Fairlane East has always been a pet friendly community, even for larger dogs of accepted breeds. Susan, the community manager, has always responded in a timely manner when I've called. Based on the beauty of the community, the professionalism of the staff and the size of the apartments/townhomes I really feel that the rates are fair.

Apparently you are the minority. You respond to everyone's complaints however your experience is different from those of us who have experienced problems. We get it, you are happy here but a lot of use aren't!
