A bunch of Morons running a rotting place

Whatever nice reviews.. the leasing management must have made it up.. don't belive what it says !
They gave away the apartment that i signed up for to somebody else and i had to wait a couple of days before they could find me another one. (with my luggage etc etc.... i moved from california).
I had asked for a carport... and they assigned me one that was already assigned to somebody and they had the audacity to say that call the towing company if they are still parked... They did this twice.. i.e, after they realised the mix up, they gave me another carport which was alloted to somebody else !!!
Ofcourse they resolved it... but after 2 weeks of moving in and two weeks of heavy snowfall !!!
There are also dogs that keep barking all day/ nite...
The pool/ hot tubs are always under "Maintenance" !
They don't salt the roads during snow... i saw two cars loosing control and banging
this season.
There is nothing "Luxury" about this apartment at all.
I also saw fights... and this lady who throw a large stone on a SUV breaking the rear windshield... You certainly don't want to live in places where there is "Violence"... i am just waiting for my lease to expire !!!
I also agree with all of this below...
We recently signed a lease at the Windsor at Fairlane Meadow. Since the time that we have moved in, there has been a constant stream of ever-increasing problems with the apartment.
We had read the previous reviews on this website (most of which were less than favorable) and felt that they were just disgruntled tenants with an axe to grind. We ignored them. We couldn't have
possibly been more wrong.
Everything that has been said about this apartment complex is true.
- Maintanance Requests are completely ignored.
- Your new apartment will not be properly cleaned when you arrive. You will marvel at the amazing variety of ethnic foods that you find splattered all over your kitchen shelves, cubboards, and stovetop. You will marvel at the ability of the previous tenants to physically BAKE crud into the smallest of places. This will never be removed.
- The clean, well-maintained unit that you are shown on your tour is unquestionably NOT the unit that you will receive.
- Your dishwasher will break half of your dishes and then melt the other half. Occasionally, it will fuse your melted dishes to the broken shards of glass. It's kinda neat.
- You will spend your first month in the apartment observing the damages and then patiently waiting for the complex to fix them. Keep waiting. They never will.
- You will talk to hostile office staff who do everything they can to shift blame (usually back to you).
- The front gate of the complex is constantly broken. Usually, this is due to impatient residents who have given up on waiting for their access cards to work and instead decide to drive right through the feeble attempt at a barrier.
- The units are old and unmaintained. Appliances are out-of-date and useless.
- For whatever reason, it seems as most of the automobiles in the parking lot have had their side-view mirrors either ripped off or severely damaged. Maybe it's a neighborhood thing' There also are several old damaged broken down cars in the lot that coincidentally occupy the best spaces and never get fixed or moved.
- The sprinkler system is more of a puddle-maker than an actual sprinkler. It does a great job of making the walkways into unpassable mushy muddy marshes.
- The "contractors" that are hired to fix any major damage to the unit do not finish their job according to the schedule that you are given. They leave food bags all over your house and massive holes in the wall. Of course, this is also your fault.
- If you have an affinity for pimped-out 1970s wallpaper, this may be the place for you. The apartments are covered in it. You'll be promised that it will be removed before move-in if you request it.... uh huh.
If you absolutely MUST live in Dearborn (i.e. if your umbilical cord is still attached to the Ford Motor Company), then there are plenty of better options than this slum.
This was written for your own good. It is in your best interest to listen.
