First impression: morning of lease signing we get a phone call saying they gave our apartment away. Offered a less appealing apartment, not happy, complain to property manager, get our apartment, got leasing agent fired. "Gated Community" offers feeling of safety, guards at night keep gates open, if gates are closed people just wait until someone else opens the gate for them, not secure.
Second impression: move in, apartment had not been clean, old carpet, nails sticking up in gap between bathroom and bedroom. Tape on kitchen peel and stick tile over bulge. Not happy.
Maintenance staff unfriendly and unprofessional. Office staff turnover rate so high by the time we moved out no one we knew was left. Even the property manager changed twice. Unsanitary garbage dumps, bums walk around going through garbage for bottles. Kids parked in parking lot smoking weed. Used condoms throughout grounds.
Move out yay! Oh wait, we get $0 security deposit back because the carpet is soo bad, even though it was listed on the damage report we filled out on move in day. Also, we were charged a fee because we turned our keys in late, even though we moved out a month early and turned in the keys three days before our lease term ended. Not Happy!
Overall Fairlane Woods will bring you nothing but stress. Would not recommend to anyone.

Wow - you just can't seem to please some people. It's unfortunate you apparantly had a bad experience, however; I assure you that the majority of our residents would not agree with you - as displayed by our historical high review rating. Good luck to you!

Actually, I know of several residents that have moved or are moving out because they are dissatisfied. And your historical high review rating is at 71% satisfied on this website, I would not say that is satisfactory. You must be concerned about your ratings seeing as to the very fast response to my review. And your responses sarcasm just goes to show prospective renters the friendliness of the staff at Fairlane Woods. This is my review of the apartments and my issues. I guess it is hard to please some people when their first issue comes on the morning the lease was to be signed. Have a good day sir!

That said, I do apologize that you were dissatisfied with your experience. As I just started here in May of 2008 I can assure you that I take feedback from past residents very seriously. ROFL. Really Dylan? You're actually going to respond "I would like to point out that our average of 70% positive feedback may seem on average low, however; compared to the rest of our local competitors we are in fact above most others". Just because other people are worse than you, doesn't make it ok. LOL. You failed, but they failed worse, so it's ok. LOL. YOU STILL FAILED.
