I just moved out of Cherry Hill Village under unfortunate circumstances, and I'm sad to go. The staff in the leasing office was always great, and our maintenance requests were all handled quickly. They are not invasive at all. If they were intending to enter our apartment, we were always informed a few days in advance, and there were only three such occasions; once to check the battery in the smoke detector, once to check our AC filter, and once for a pre-move out inspection. The maintenance guys are very friendly and professional. The one time we had to call emergency maintenance, he was there in under an hour.

Our appliances all functioned properly and nothing broke while we were there. Our dishwasher did flood the kitchen once, but I caught it quickly, and the maintenance people unclogged our sink while I was at work. We had no more problems after that.

Our neighbor upstairs was very noisy, but I think it had as much to do with the paper-thin cieling as it did with him being loud (which he was). I think our experience would have been better if we had a second floor apartment, which is what I'm aiming for next time.

The parking was at times a bit cramped, but at worst I had to park on Yorkshire Blvd rather than behind my apartment, which is about an equal walk. I was never more than 100 yards from my door, and I only had to park away from our parking lot a handful of times. I always felt safe here and our neighbors were very nice.

Cherry Hill Village was a great first home and I hope to move back here when our fortunes pick up.
