Horrible. Don't do it to yourself.

I have lived here for 10 months and thank goodness I'm getting out due to a corporate transfer. The place is large and the rent fairly resonable. Don't get snowed and seduced in by it!!! I wondered for the first couple of months that I lived here why it always seemed my neighbors would live here for exactly one year and then leave. Now, I know!! The bad experience I had in the beginning is par for the course.
The old manager, Darlene was absolutely horrible. Thank goodness they just transferred her to another property. They have a new manager and she seems to be trying hard but it isn't easy to overcome upper management's issues. They promised an onsite maintenance man but they fired the horrible one 9 months ago and still haven't managed to replace him. They tend to overpromise when a repair will be done and then they don't come through and act surprised when people get upset about it.
Parking is constantly an issue. The one bedroom folks are only given one assigned spot and most of them are VERY rude and just tell their guests to park in spots that belong to neighbors instead of utilizing one of the many visitor spots on the property. Management claims they tow but that's crap. They want you to wait HOURS before they'll tow anybody no matter how often an offender they are.
When I moved to the place it was fairly quiet. Lately, they've been moving in loud families. I've watched the quality of living go down around me. Lots of teenagers just hanging out in the parking area these days. More people in the apartments lately than there should be.
Laundry is a nightmare. One washer and dryer for 8 townhouses with all of the families moving in you can guess how hard it is to get in to do your laundry.
Repairs are a nightmare. My apartment was so incredibly awful when I moved in that upper management got involved. I have the pictures to back that up. I waited FIVE months for some very simple repairs and had to climb the corporate ladder to get them done. The buildings are older and they just aren't doing long term maintenance to keep them up. Just short term stuff.
On the plus side they did put in new flooring when I moved in. They do pay for heat. The a/c bills get out of control in the summer because of the window a/c units and they don't have them in every room. Regulating temperatures is a nightmare. They do allow people on the first floor one bedroom apartments and all of the townhomes to plant flower gardens outside your door if you maintain it.
