Be prepared to pay the hefty heating in winter if you want to move in. And with more and more college kids move in, Belcrest is becoming college dorm.

WSU is right next to the University, so it's most efficient for college students to locate here, especially since the price is so much lower than the on-campus living, and there's no mandatory meal plan. If you prefer somewhere that has heat included in the rent, there's a place at 51 East Willis that has variously sized apartments that uses radiator heat. Anyway, though they couldn't do it while everyone's leases were in effect, had the Belcrest not replaced the old inefficient system of heating, they would have had to raise rents. Granted, if you signed your lease with the assumption that heating was included in the rent, you should address that concern to the manager, because that is part of the contract. |
