i never had a chance to look at this site. But finally i did, & its funny that if they woul have lived 4 yrs. ago they would have things to complain about. The first yr. or so i was here i almost left, because nothing got fixed, or it was w/ bubble gum. I've seen owners switch hands three times, & since May i think this old girl found the one who's going to put her back togher. I didn't know who he was until July, when i asked a man cleaning the lobby where Mike was, he replied Mike wasn't around i'm Dave the owner, can i help you,i was floored. As for some comments i've read & heard, we live in a college area, thats why i'm hear. Most of the kids i've come across are very nice. The parking lot, do you complain when your cable bill goes up' As for the heating, the crew came in a moth ago & winterized my apt. & my bill is not bad at all, & i have heat when i want it! As for Mike the building manager, i've heard Mike become stern w/ people when needed, but if i had to repeat the same thing to someone 5 times & they still didn't get it i would be more than stern. If anyone thinks this place is that bad, check out dorms, or other buildings, & there prices, & what you get.

you are happy with your heating bill? mine is $400 on top of the monthly rent, not to mention that i can't bring the temperature up to more than 65F! these new owners are crooks, real crooks! they cut the pipes from central heating (previously included in rent) and they installed these wall units thus transferring the heating responsibility to tenants, and you are happy with this? not to mention that the wall units they installed "are designed to be used only as a supplemental heat source. they should be used in addition to regular heating systems and never as the primary source of heat" (p. 10 of the instructions manual). what they did is illegal! Detroit is not in Florida! the cold season lasts 7 months. one can't heat these apartments only with the wall units! i have 55 degrees in my bathroom. i can't take a shower! everything i touch in my unheated bathroom is damn cold! i'll call Chanel 4! this is real torture!
