The management does kinda suck. I doubt it's the worst though. Michael is lazy and if you have a problem you have to tell him about ten times before something is done about it. The heating/AC units rack up your electric and don't satisfy. Even when you have the heat going, they start blowing out cold air... WTF' I think the Belcrest is way overpriced for the way they operate. It is a nice building, the apts are spacious with high ceilings... but no one should have to pay as much as the Belcrest charges to live there. Check around at other places... you will pay way less for and apt with maybe a little less sq footage, and probably management that operates the same way. Why pay so much for the Belcrest'

I'm looking to rent at belcrest for up coming year at wayne state but now am concerned with comments. Any suggestions to stay other than belcrest? also curious to how much utilites will cost? How about crime rate in area & apartment complex? Parking will also be an issue; where did you or guests park?
