Rodents, garbage & neighbors
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 6/10/2008
Years at this apartment: 1995 - 2001
In 1991, I was one of the first residents to reside at Circle Drive Commons-(CDC). Construction was still going on. My daughter who will be 17 was the first born child at CDC. I resided at CDC for 10 years. My husband and I were delighted to live in such a beautiful place. As the years passed, things were not so great. There was always a turnover in the office and the maintenance department as well. The garbage bins became an issue. Neighbors became careless. When the garbage bins were full,(especially near the holidays),garbage would be placed on top of the bins and on the ground next to the bin. Neighbors would ride around with garbage on top of their hoods searching the other bins to place their garbage into, which always ended up on the ground anyway. Maintenance would sometimes enter without permission. I have missed articles in my home. As the previous post stated, rodents became a problem. For a few years, no shrubs were placed outside of the doors on either side. A few of us would placed small plants (just so the ground would not look so bare). The plants were often dug up out of the ground. So for years, we had no shrubs or plants. I no longer enjoyed living at CDC. I wanted to move. From the previous posts, I do not think much has changed. Also, be respectful of your neighbors. The walls are like cardboard.
