I just renewed my lease for a 2nd year ... no increase in rent, by the way. I have to say that I'm very impressed at how well this place is maintained. Sure, things wear out and need updating/replacing ... Time will do that. But Lafayette Towers is always on top of things, striving to keep it a classy place to live. I just read the review from April, 08 ... I had to laugh. This woman says she was always bothered by the elevator bells. There are NO bells on the elevators! "Trust me", she says. I implore you ... never "trust" someone's opinion when it contains a falsehood (or 2).

If you're looking for a classy place to live downtown, at an affordable price, without cutting quality service, consider Lafayette Towers. Good people, great neighbors, great view. My only complaint is with Sprint. Their cell signal does not like high rises.
