I have been a resident of Lafayette Towers for 2 full years (re-signing my lease for another year in June!), and I have been very pleased with my stay here. Management has always been responsive to issues, and in my opinion are even more responsive after the change in ownership. The staff has been severly cut back, yet i notice no difference in the level of service; in fact, i get a greater sense of caring from the management staff, & they seem much happier than before!

Now there are some issues with the building (limited visitor parking, laundry room needs updating, storage areas need better lighting), but what building doesn't have issues''!! This is my third apartment community while in downtown Detroit (previously River Place & Riverfront); and the combination of service, dedication, price,and professionalism exhibited here easily makes this the best place I've lived.

I look forward to enjoying my 1bedroom apartment facing the skyline of the city for many more years to come, and encourage people to seriously consider Lafayette Towers if you're moving into the city!
