I just can't take it any more!!!!!!!!! Still late for work every morning. Talked to mgmt 2 weeks ago about 1 elevator working and maintenance doing trash in the morning. They hold the elevator until they have done all floors. Walked down 21 flights for over 2 weeks now. This makes me late for work as I have had a heart attack and need to walk very slowly. I can't even take my boxes to work that I need as I can't carry them down the stairs. Mgmt was supposed to have maintenance let the elevator go when there is a call. Had guests over Friday - You guessed it - they had to walk down. My fiance got all dressed up this past Sat with heels for us to go to a special function - you guessed it - no elevator. I later found out there was some people moving in and some people moving out and the held the elevators all afternoon and evening!!!! Didn't get to go to our function. All I could think about was I was glad we didn't have to go the hospital, Someone wouldn't have made it. i HAVE BEEN A GREAT TENANT FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND NEVER WOULD I DREAM THIS COULD HAVE EVER HAPPENED HERE. I guess the tenants they want are the ones see running in and out of the empty apt on the 21st floor - making all kinds of noise and whatever else. I am going to the office tomorrow to tell them I am breaking the lease for non performance of services.

Hear. Hear.
The the last straw is the smoke dectector down the hall has been beeping and needing a battery for over month. Mind you, 6 months ago I got tired and pulled a chair into the hallway and replaced the beeping one outside my unit myself.
As little as a year ago I had "pie in the sky" dreams of the bulding going co-op or condo. It breaks my heart to look out of the window of my SW corner unit... as I talk to my realeastate agent on the phone. I'm taking my son, and my $1,100 per month elsewhere.
*(hmmm...with the service elevator being down, how am I going to move my stuff out?)
