I lived in the MC and renewed my lease. There is a change in management which is evident. As far as main issues of concern regarding safety, cleanliness, parking... Safety is not bad 24 hr security, building is very clean, parking is bad if your home during week day hours because it shared with GM however when you get home from work they're gone so it all works out. Overall its not a bad place. Close to everything and your guest will probably enjoy it more than you.
