I am currently a resident of the Millender Center. We have been there for almost 6 years. Because of the concrete walls we have only on one occassion had a problem with noise from a neighbor, and it was taken care of as soon as we mentioned it to security. Security even phoned to make sure we were no longer disturbed by the noise. If you want to live downtown and be able to walk to stadiums and events, this is the perfect place to live. I looked at most of the downtown buildings before we moved here and MC had the biggest spaces. I have had no issues with staff as some others have reported. And getting the dock time to move or have furniture, etc delivered has never been a problem for us. Maintenance people seem to be prompt and competent and most of security is friendly (there is one guy who seems to be always unhappy) and they keep the building secure. Security was a big issue when we started looking downtown and we feel we found it at the MC. The front door is always manned and guards do walk throughs in the common areas frequently. Parking is not an issue, during the day you may have to park on the upper levels because of the GM employees, but there is always some secure place to park. Parking is an issue for your guests, however. It is true that the elevators have had their problems, but they are in the process of rebuilding all of them so the problem is being addressed, not ignored. I find that wait time for elevators is usually not that long, although there have been a couple of exceptions. I would recommend MC to anybody who is looking for a secure, quiet downtown apartment with nice views.

This was not experience, it has been rather negative. I do not recommend the MC apts, to anyone.
