Good: Spacious apartments; hardwood floors; I've never seen a roach; nice views; quiet once you're inside your apartment

Bad: I have never seen security. Parking is horrible. The elevators are constantly broken. The building smells. The laundry room in the basement constantly has you looking over your shoulder for Freddie or Jason. Trash stinks. Pigeons dump on the front steps constantly. Often times when riding the elevator, someone on there will either be high, drunk or smoking a cigarette.

So, if the good outweighs the bad for you OR if the bad is still better than where you are currently living...then go for it...otherwise I would keep looking.

I lived in the Pasadena back in the 1960's, specifically around the years, 1962 through 1968. Everything then was good and fine. No bird poop on the stoop. no stinky garbage; it was good. The previous review is only one tenant.

I can't even believe you would say the review is only one tenant. Have you seen the other reviews??? Also, you lived here almost 40 YEARS ago, why would you think your opinion of the CURRENT conditions would even be valid now? I don't have a problem with you telling us how it was in the "old days" but don't put down the reviews of people who have lived there in THIS century!!!
