River Place has undergone a significant change in Property Management over the last few months. They have made some important changes and are driving toward improving the facility and making it a real "Luxury Apartment" complex.

1) They instituted their own on-site security. There are now security guards in every lobby due to Stroh's security not being effective.

2) They are in the midst of remodeling the lobbies and are almost complete remodeling the management office.

3) A change in management at the corporate level is instituting stringent collection procedures to rid the facility of non-paying deadbeat tenants.

4) Although the staff is on the newer side, the Property manager, Trena along with corporate management have customer service as their utmost priority.

5) Management instituted a new emergency hotline that contacts the maintenance staff directly in order to better service tenants in the event of a maintenance emergency. This operators personally call the maintenance staff, property manager, etc. until someone is reached to find help for tenants.

6) The maintenance staff is on top of things. The new chief engineer, Daryl, has his crew working in high gear and for the first time in ages, they are caught up on tenant maintenance issues.

River Place has experienced many ailments over the last couple years due to horrible management by AEC Realty. The new management company, PPM of Michigan recognizes that, and is painstakingly trying to change River Place's image so that all residents and people in the surrounding area benefit from a new, upscale, thriving community.

I suggest you go by and take a look. The new, refurbished model unit is gorgeous and will make it difficult not to choose River Place Apartments.
