Although I have a great apartment, the maintenance and management sucks. This is best described as a boot camp living experience. Management seems to have a foothold in the way you live. There is no respect for privacy and the owner is a greedy man. Parking is horrible in that your guests may have turn around and go home because for a complex of 165 apartments there are only 4 visitor spots. There is only intermittent parking allowed on Jefferson. There is no handicap spaces and the guards seem to be policing the residents rather than safeguarding the complex. THe exercise rooms have broken equipment and it has been so for at least one year! The management goes in and out of your apartment at will and without permission. Garbage has to be taken across the lot for disposal. There are no carts and absolutely no easy access to your apartment for groceries and any heavier packages. The fireworks are not visible and the rents are raised at will. There are no elevators even though there are four floors. If you are late with your rent you are treated with the utmost disrespect and disdain. Notices to Quit are given on the 6th day of being late. Goose ---- is all over the "park like setting" and the grass is never cut and never watered. You will be lied to about security as there are no cameras and very little surveillance of the area within the complex. Even though the river view is great - this is a horrible place to live.
