held at gunpoint

The best in downtown Detroit, but if you have any ability to, live out in Ferndale or another suburb. Rent will be cheaper and you will feel more safe. Two people were held at gunpoint in the parking structure while I lived there (span of one year) and my next door neighbor had a steady line of "customers" and mysteriously never went to work. His marijuana seeped into my apartment, I called security three times and I think they just went and bought from him. Rent went up $160 over night so I left. Noise is a serious problem, I could hear every word of a normal voice conversation throught the wall.

This is a lie. I have lived at riverfront for 3 yrs and there has never been a case involving guns and I think 95% of my neighbors are good hardworking people it is a shame someone would write these lies. I can't beleive this was written by someone who lives at this property. If this was written by another rental property these lies are immoral.

I have lived at Riverfront Apartments for 2 years and have just bought a condo here. I agree these are obvious lies and I don't know why real estate agents are trying to make the nicest place to live in Detroit seem like a dump when it is really incredible.

I too lived at riverfront for 2 years (2001-2003)and never heard of any such incidents. I've recently moved back (5/2007) to riverfront beacause it is the best value and safest place to live in the city.

I've lived at Riverfront for 3 years - have never smelled weed or felt in danger ! NEVER ! This is a good place to live - a lilttle overpriced - but a good and safe place ! I'd recommend Riverfront !
