Security in the parking structure is dubious at best. EVERYONE knows about the hold-ups, we called the Detroit Police and confirmed it.

I lived at riverfront towers from 2001 to 2004 in the 200 tower. During that time I never once felt concerned for my security. However, on occasion there were indeed some questionable individuals on the property. Whether the above "holdups" can be confirmed I'm not sure, but I wouldn't let this deter you from considering riverfront.

There is a problem at riverfront in the parking structure. A visitor of mine had his care broken in too. There are no cameras in the structure an security only walks thru periodically so it is not the safest place. But that could happen anywhere. I just advise trying to park close to one of the doors or call family and have them walk in with you.

I had my car towed as a resident.. they didn't car that my car was registered and had a TransCore in the front windshield that verified that I was a resident. Very rude, inconsiderate and incompetent staff.

My mother had always dreamed of living at the Riverfront. One year ago when she decided to make her dream come true, it quickly turned into a nightmare. She left her home on the Detroit west side to escape the drug dealers across the street, only to move down the hall from one in the Riverfront. There was always the smell of marijuana coming from this apartment and people in and out all times of the night. Managment is horrible and the staff is very unprofessional. The apartments are very outdated and in terrible conditions. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU WANT PEACE!!!!!!!
