The apartment itself is ok, but the management is simply woeful.
- they phone you up and make false allegations and threats without getting their facts right
- they loose your rent check and then commence eviction proceedings without contacting you. No apology when you go to their office and they find your check on a desk.
- friends and family will stop coming around because of the long security lines to get in. 30 minute wait times are the norm on friday and saturday nites
- visitors trying to get past inept security will block the entrance so residents cannot get in
- AC cannot keep building 100 cold and they will not address this
- elevators constantly broken and weeks to fix
- once you move out they will accuse you of damaging the apartment and send details to multiple collection companies at the same time. They will not return voice mails to discuss
- their office is closed for every religious holiday you can possibly imagine.
Unfortunately they know they are the only decent place to live downtown detroit and treat their residents accordingly.

Security at the gate is a joke. There is a an older black lady with grey hair who takes 10 minutes per guest. She is ridiculous and on random days it can take guests almost an hour to get it. Good luck
