I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS - PRICES KEEP INCREASING - MAINTENANCE KEEPS DECREASING. SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY CAR LAST WEEK - SHATTERED THE WINDOW. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS - BUT THAT'S THE ONLY REASON I'D RECOMMEND RIVERFRONT. I DON'T EVER SEE DRUG DEALERS OR SERIOUS DANGERS. BUT - NOT WORTH THE HIGH PRICE.

I'M LEAVING AFTER LEASE EXPIRES

I totally agree. I just got a letter from them saying that if you don't sign up for renter's insurance they will mandatorily charge you 9.95 per month under a group rate. There is some penalty if you don't. They are also getting rid of paper statements and charging 3 dollars for a written statement. They said "refer to your lease agreement"... usually if a company gets rid of your paper statement you should be able to access your statement online... there definitely is no statement online.. which means less people catching mistakes on their statement ... which there are definitely mistakes (I had to correct overcharges 3 times over the last 2 years - not once was i UNDERcharged). They do charge you 10 dollars a month for buzzing which is why I dont have a buzzer. They charge you if your contact phone is not a 313 area code phone. If you are thinking of having a huge party for fireworks or red bull air run think twice. $20 dollar per car limited parking and limited mandatory plastic wrist bands. Also - the dry cleaners - I never use because they charge $6.50 per pants and $5.00 per shirt... Hair salon - I would not pay 35 dollars for a haircut there. I don't know if the lowered it after the economy tanked but i think still overpriced for what its worth.
