Definitely like calling this place home!

My boyfriend and I have lived in the Lofts at Rivertown since August of 2001 and have been extremely happy with our funky, industrial unit. The maintenance staff is great and goes out of their way to handle problems in a timely manner. The grounds and the communal areas of the building are very well maintained. Our apartment itself has all the amenities we could possibly have hoped for EXCEPT for hardwood floors, although our unit had new, fairly good quality carpet installed before we moved in. On top of it all, our unit is very reasonably priced.
On the down side, we had hoped after living here for a year to have an offer of new screens-- ours are falling apart. Our plumbing fixtures and closet doors aren?t the greatest quality-- we?ve had some problems with them breaking repeatedly, but haven?t had anything major that needed repairs. We have a hallway above part of our unit, and we do hear a lot of noise from people walking. Our biggest qualm though is that the building has decided to go condo and it looks as though the young urban professional crowd will soon be replaced by yuppers interested in amenities like valet parking and a spiffy logo.
Too bad-- we really enjoyed living here. It will be hard to find another place that has it all.
