I lived a Trolley plaza for 5 yrs. It was o.k. when i first moved in but went downhill quickly. Major complaints were the elevators, which out of 4 MAYBE 2 worked at any given time. Also, the hot tub was maybe functional for 2-3 weeks TOTAL during my whole time there. The pool is small, and usually opens very late in the year. And with a bunch of unattended kids wearing shorts, t-shirts, babies in diapers, and other unapproved swimwear it was not a real thrill to use. The office staff is a bit snooty and rather uncaring of residents needs and concerns. Also, i have personally seen a senior member in the office drinking on the job. I had my GF and her boy over to swim once when the pool WAS actually working and had to evict 2 --- men smoking crack in the pool bathroom so the boy could use it! Thats rediculous! The premises are in poor shape and theres been alot of trouble with theft in the parking garage. I know cause my vehicle was broken into and i know of other tenants who had thiers also. About 2-3 years ago, while i was yet a resident, someone was killed in one of the rattletrap elevators. This place absolutely sucks! Believe it! I could go on and on about why. The 1 and only thing I liked about the whole place was the 1 thing I was in control of: my apartment. I had a nice 2 bdrm, 2 bath on the 19th floor that I took very good care of. My guests thought the place was a bit shady when visiting UNTIL they were actually in my unit. Then they felt right at home. In fact, due to the nice thick, cement walls I was able to host a few rather wild parties! The location is nice and the view is awesome but these days thats about all this ghetto joint has got going for it. I still live downtown but in a much better place. Go the extra mile and don't settle for this place!
