We have lived here for several years and will be moving out as soon as the lease expires. The new management company is POOR. Though they have updated some things, it has all been cosmetic and there are still serious problems with the building and the way they run it. Several of the elevators are always broken or put on "lockdown" so the maintenance can use can use them and nobody else. This creates tremendous hassle. The new intercom system would be nice if you didn't have to buy a landline to use it. Who uses landlines anymore' Rent goes up, quality of life goes down. There are so many nice apartments in the city to move to, skip Washington Square, it's just not worth it.

As the new property manager we continue to have in place a multi million dollar renovation project underway. In addition, we are renovating the elevators. This is a two year project that will cost $1.2 million dollars. Each cab will be taken down, updated inside and out and then returned to use. We understand that at busy times such as the morning or evening, when the majority of the residents are coming in and out, this can be cumbersome. However, we ask for your patience as we continue to bring these updates on line for your comfort. Also, the reason for the landline for the intercom system is that we want the resident to be home when they open the front door to guests. We chose this method so we did not have guests wandering unattended in the building. Finally, we have done extensive research and found that with all the ammenities, we are competitively priced in the downtown market area. Give us the opportunity to impress you.
