River Place Apartments

500 River Place, Detroit, MI 48207

08/04/14 by bnatural415: I moved to river place in September 2013 and yes, I'm renewing my lease today, because I really like it here. I do understand that some people's financial situation is different, but you get what you pay for. This is a very well kept community with around the clock security that patrols the area and the buildings as well as the parking garage. Grounds are very well kept, maintenance is more

The Windsor Towers

1600 Antietam Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207

07/04/14 by bbb321: This is the worst apartment complex I've had the misfortune of living in. The staff responds extremely slowly to maintenance requests, the elevators frequently don't work, the heating and air conditioning is dodgy at best, and the building's structural necessities (lighting, plumbing, etc.) are the worst. I haven't had air conditioning for the past year. Stay away from here, more

Renaissance City Apartments

555 Brush Street, Detroit, MI 48226

07/26/14 by banana391: My move in process was smooth, the view is spectacular, and the staff pleasant. Nick Thibeault was very friendly and helpful during the lease signing/move in process, however some of the communication between staff could be improved; it seems the documents Nick requested from me were not delivered to him by his coworker, and I had to send them again. The apartment is beautiful, extremely quiet, more

The Pavilion

1 Lafayette Plaisance, Detroit, MI 48207

08/07/14 by anonymous: I have been at the Pavilion for the past 4 months and have really enjoyed my time here. My move in experience wasn't great, and the leasing office really messed up; but they did resolve the issue and were apologetic. The office can be a little slow at times to resolve issues but Maintenance is done extremely quickly, and security is great. The area feels safe - and I've never had more

Town Apartments and Suites

1511 First Street, Detroit, MI 48226

07/07/14 by Katelynnfleming: First off let me state that when My boyfriend and I moved downtown and into Town Apartments we knew that they were in the middle of redoing the apartments and that they were going to be rough looking for awhile. We have only lived here since the beginning of May 2014. It's now the 7th of July 2014 and I'm horrified with the way things have been going this last week and a day... Here are more

Studio One Apartments

4501 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201

05/29/14 by Gregory Parker: I had been looking for the idea place to move too. The thing is I needed that was assessable to a major bus line, well Studio One Apartments was the idea place. Close to Wayne State University and an abundance of restaurants, and minute's from Downtown Ford Field and Comerica Park. I had nothing but pleasure since I moved here four years ago. Management is so nice they are always throwing more

Lafayette Towers

1301 Orleans, Detroit, MI 48207

08/20/14 by Smiley Faces: My experience at Lafayette Towers was good. I just moved out but I referred 3 of co-workers there during my 3 year stay. Overall the pro's outweighed the cons. I didnt have a lot of problems in my flat but on the occassions when I requested service they were quick. Normally 1 day to fix. My neigbors were great and carpooling helped save lots of cash. The office staff and some of more

Riverfront Apartments

100 Riverfront Dr., Detroit, MI 48226

07/26/14 by anonymous: I lived here from summer 2011 - summer 2014. The views are stunning, the staff is stunningly bad. Pros: -Incredible river views -People Mover access Cons: -Raising rent / Marketplace: for my 3rd year (in summer 2013), they raised my rent from $1050 to $1250. I called to complain. I mentioned that one of the reasons I moved in was the Marketplace, which was about to close. The manager laughed more

Alden Park Towers

8100 East Jefferson Avenue, Detroit, MI 48214

06/21/14 by anonymous: Beautiful building, but that about sums up the positives for this apartment. Management is incompetent, Security are nice, but haven't a clue what's going on. They hire new security it seems every month and there have been multiple issues with them placing very hard to remove tow warning stickers on RESIDENTS' cars. Management is a joke, it's true they don't follow more
