My husband and I lived in the "manor" as we refer to it for only a year, and trust me the lease couldn't end soon enough. When first moving in we were excited about location, half way between Ann Arbor and Toledo and close to Monroe. After 3 mths the honeymoon wore out and the trouble began. Neighbors were noisy, the hallways smelled of horrible stale smoke and cats and management became worse. I can personally list 5 events in which management was terrible in responding. We were without air for a week in 90 degree weather, the maintance staff is building residents. I don't know about you but I don't feel comfortable letting other tenants in my apartment. The building is old and outdated. After a year we were still cleaning up cat air from a previous tenant. Couldn't wait for moving day, we have since moved into a very nice complex in Monroe where maintance is great, the buildings are maintained and management cares about their tenants.
If I have any advice, it's go a few miles further into Monroe and find something worth your money and don't settle!
