I really liked my 787 Burcham apartment. Yeah, it was the smallest place i've ever lived, and the carpet was screwed up when we moved in, but what i really liked about this place was the solid construction. this is a really old bldg, and i could never hear anyone, with the exception of a tiny bit from the person who lived above me.
i kinda felt like i was the only one who lived there alot of times...nice if that is what you are looking for.
parking was always fine, people were very quiet and friedly, but not obtrusive. Maintenence at this property was nice, and yes i am aware that alot of DTN sucks, but 787 was nice.

it was alwaays way too hot in this apartment because of the floor heat, but then again heat was free, so we just opened the windows.

It was about a 1/2 hour walk to say the art bldg and a 40 minute walk to the eng. bldg, but the walk was through a really pretty neighborhood, so it was nice centering time.

Price was great, it was like 500$ 1.5 years ago. no frills, but nice quiet place to live.
