The sewer line broke and they did not fix it for SIX WEEKS. We could not use the water in the kitchen for over a week and had to wash the dishes in the bathtub. Our kitchen carpet was wet from sewage for weeks. The plumbers came, dug a huge hole right outside our door, and then left for a week. That didn't get fixed for four weeks. The windows didn't lock and had no screens. Our heat didn't work at all, so finally they "fixed" it and the apartment was 85 the entire winter even though we had the heat turned off all the way and called the office several times. The refrigerator leaked and the bottom shelf was covered with water the entire time we lived there. We told them about it in August and when we moved out in May it still wasn't fixed. And there was a fire that destroyed six apartments in another building. The walls are so thin that when the neighbors opened their door it sounded like someone was coming in our apartment.
